MICKY'S SISTER ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Email received from Geraldine and Chas on 5th July 2018 as follow ....
Dear All
It was a great pleasure to meet you on Monday to say good bye to Micky, my brother.
We enjoyed many walks with Michael especially when there was a cup of tea and cake at the end! He would always tell us about the walks he shared with you all. Your company and friendship was just as important as the exercise to Michael.
We live in Malmesbury, Wiltshire and if you ever have a trip nearby please let us know. You would all be welcome to rest your feet and soothe any aches with tea and cake. I have plenty of mugs!
Enjoy the walks you have planned for the future. Let's hope the good summer weather continues.
With best wishes to you all.
Love
Geraldine and Chas Gould

Our reply on 7th July 2018 ...
Dear Geraldine & Chas
Thank you for your e-mail. I am doing this email on behalf of all members of Essex Deaf Ramble Group who knew Micky. It was a great shock when we heard he has passed away in May as the previous month he was walking with us. Micky was a member of our group for several years, a quiet man but great sense of humour and liked by all, it was a pleasure to walk with him and we will miss him very much.
I was pleased to see so many of his friends at his funeral and also a large turnout from our walking group which shows how he was loved and respected by all.
I am sure if we are Wiltshire way and in your area we will take on your kind offer to pop round to soothe our aches and have a mug of tea and cake.
Kind Regards
Ken Burgess
